May Glossy Box | 2nd Birthday Box

This is my second Glossy Box now and I am still really impressed with the products I received this month!  I had seen some spoilers on the internet and looking at them I got all the products I wanted really, although I have seem some people who have not been very happy with their boxes this month.
Inside the box is lovely, in my opinion and I love the bright pink bow!

This is there 2nd Birthday box.

Here are the products I recieved!

Bellapierre Super Lip Gloss
Full Size 9ml for £12.99
Not really a fan of lip gloss really, but the colour is nice.  I tried it on my lips and I found tht you couldn't build the colour up, its pretty sheer and if you swipe it on your lips more than twice it removes the colour from your lips and makes them look uneven.

L'Occitane Angelica Hydration Cream
Full Size 50ml for £30
I haven't tried this product yet, but I love anything that's moisturizing so I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Beautiful Movements Prime & Create Mixing Medium
Full Size 20g for £20
(formally known as BM Beauty)
To be honest, I'm not really sure how to use this, I'm guessing you can use it as a primer of some sort or to create cream products? correct me if I'm wrong?

Caudalie Devine Oil
Full Size 15ml for £4.05
This is one of the products I was excited to get and hoped I would get.  I'm not much of a hair care fan, but I have ombre Hair and I think its time that I try and manage and take care of it so I'm really glad I got this.  You can use it on your hair, face and body.

Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara
Full Size £15
This again is another product I was really happy to receive.  I have tried it and I like it, but I don't love it yet.  but I will do a review on it once I have given it a fair try!

So, there's what I got in my box!
I am really happy with what I received, Let me know what you got in yours!

I love the artwork for this album.  So simple and pretty.  I think that that little splash of colour makes all the difference.

Here's the track list (sorry I had to steal it off iTunes.)

I don't know what t say about this album really.  She has such a beautiful voice and I urge you all to go out an buy this album!

Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Varnish | Review

I have recently brought a few Barry M Nail Varnish's while having a browse at some makeup and other things.  I brought 2 to start with and after applying them for the first time, I needed more in my life, so I went out and brought 4 more!

These are the colours that I brought.

Firstly I'll say, I LOVE the names of these.  There so fun and summery, really gets you in the mood for summer!

I love the formula of these nail polish's, they smell odd, but I don't know if that's just me!
They glide on your nails lovely.  You don't need a top coat as they look like they already have one! As with most nail varnish you do need a couple of coats to get the best colour pay off.  The colours I find my self shifting more towards are Prickly Pear and Blueberry.  These colours look amazing on your nails, especially as its coming up to summer!  They last for at least a week for me without chipping, unless I scrape them while there still tacky, which I do alot! Another thing, they dry super fast! I always find with nail varnish, I'll sit there for at least half an hour waiting for my nails to dry properly, but these take literally 10 mins to dry fully and look shiny and glossy until you decide to take it off!
Overall I think everyone should have some of these in their collection.  Fun, easy, effortless nails!

Thanks for reading!

Max Factor FaceFinity All Day Flawless Foundation | Review

As the title says, this is a review of Max Factor's 'Face Finity All Day Flawless Foundation' , well more of a first thoughts rather than a indebted review as such.
I brought this foundation on a whim, as Boots and Superdrug didn't have the foundation I wanted in my shade, as per usual.  Originally I was after the L'oreal Infallible Long Lasting Perfecting Foundation, what a mouth full! I then couldn't find it so I dragged my boyfriend through 40 minuets of foundation shopping :D
I came accros the Max Factor stand and spotted a few foundations that were pale enough for my ghost like skin, but I settled for this one!

Firstly I payed £11.99 for this foundation, which I think is reasonable.  You get 30ml, but a little really goes a long way.  It claims to be a Primer, Concealer and Foundation all in one.  I partly agree with this, although I wouldnt say it 'Conceals' very well.  Its more of a medium coverage foundation, but you can build it up to be high coverage, without it looking patchy or cakey on your face.

If you suffer from dry skin, I wouldn't recommend this foundation, as it sets matte I feel it would exaggerate dry skin, but normal and even oily skin I think this is a winner!  I have quite oily skin and it doesn't budge or go shiny at all.  I don't need to touch it up at all and you don't even need to use a setting powder!

I got it in the shade 40 -Light Ivory which is the lightest shade they do.  I get really annoyed with 'drugstore' brands not catering for the lighter skinned skin, but hey ho, nothing I can do bout it.

(left:consistancy - Right: blended out)

This foundation sets matte and applied really easily, although there are techniques I tried while applying which didn't work for me. The best way to apply this foundation, which I found is with a Beauty sponge.  I have the Cosmopolitan one which costs £4.99 from Boots, Superdrug and I think I have seen it on Feel Unique too. I tryed to apply with my fingers and it doesn't have the same 'airbrushed' effect as the sponge, the same with my Real Techniques brushes.  The brushed work better, but don't give a as nice finish as the sponge.

Overall I am very happy with this foundation.  I love it!  I urge you all to go and buy it!

A Day In The Sun

Since we have such nice weather today, I though I would go and have a nice sit in the garden and have a play with the dogs and catch some rays, even if I do burn like a crisp if I even look at the sun!

Trying to get these dogs to keep still proved to be impossible!

Birds actually nest in here! pretty awesome if your a nature geek like me.  You'll occasionally see them popping in and out with bits of twig!

Just a short post, thought I would share these pictures, I would have took more but my battery died on my camera :(
